Protos has tons of Gas good thing I went all in with Zergs, Bane's , Roaches and Hydra 2×2 all on his main.

being someone who only watches starcraft and doesn't play, i reckon the main problem is protoss always knows that zerg has x2 the resources and max out speed so they can't engage even if they win one fight cause the zerg will still outslug them in this late of a game

I feel like maybe it would be good for the game to have some minerals and gas geysers that can not be completely depleted – just drastically lowered in efficiency. at least in some base locations. Having territory control mean basically nothing after it is mined out seems a bit weird. It can lead to these stalemates and several narrows down the viable options In a late-game as you no longer have anything to fight for control over. That is what otherwise drives the whole game forward, so without that element active it's not great for the gameplay. I think geysers in SC1 did this by default, although with no mineral equivalent it seemed like a bit of a vestigial feature. I kind of like the approach C&C had with resources that basically "regrew"

i like the tempest it really broke a deadlock where protoss could not take advantage of its weaponry. i would actually like to also see a 'rocket defense tower' for terran. ive been thinking about this and think it is better for aeiral defense and harrass, where terran is often ineffective. i think a short burst of maybe 6 rockets and then a short rest would be the best function. this would mean it is able to protect a large area and remain balanced. splash damage for ground and air units would also be hugely beneficial, and allow a better effective distribution of attacks. with this style, it would punish players who are entering freely even in somewhat large numbers. it would also be balanced by allowing a sustained 'siege' or 'raid' to continue without having to target these structures first. it would also allow less investment from terran into strategic positioning, hwhile remaining able to recover quickly. i believe this range should be enough to protect most of the base with 2 rocket towers, from melee. i also think it would be interesting if they had a short-mid range reposition through a 'launch'. this would allow resources to be used effectively, and offer a unique advantage to strategic fronts. i would love if starcraft added this to starcraft 2!

I feel like neeb almost threw the game by making pushes when he should have held his ground. Especially when it's a war of attrition.
Tempest with revelation are perfect for that. Even with queens, they can't transfuse a one shot.
